In 2015, NRC Handelsblad published my thought-provoking piece, humorously titled ‘The Bombing: We Can’t Make It More Fun, but We Can Make It More Commercial.’ As an opinion column, I took a firm stance against the organization of a running event that exploited the bombing of the city of Rotterdam in WW2 for a commercial sports event. This significant publication marked the inception of my journalistic journey and also played a role in bringing an end to the controversial running event.
Since then, my writing has graced the pages of numerous esteemed magazines and online publications, both in Dutch and English. Over the course of the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of conducting insightful interviews with a diverse array of individuals, including CEOs, business leaders, start-up entrepreneurs, artists, and Olympic athletes. This enriching experience has allowed me to delve into a wide range of topics, providing valuable insights and perspectives to my readers.
